Swap crypto without KYC — the honest guide
Six instant swap services let you exchange crypto (including Monero/XMR) with no account and no ID checks for standard trades. We compared their fees, KYC policies, limits and XMR support using public documentation — and we mark every estimate as one.
Referral links on this page may earn us a commission (e.g. 0.4% of referred ChangeNOW trades) at no extra cost to you. Full disclosure.
Swap BTC → XMR right here
The widget below is a live ChangeNOW exchange interface (BTC to XMR by default). Anything you swap through it goes directly to ChangeNOW — we never see your funds. Read the step-by-step BTC→XMR guide first if you are new to instant swaps.

The six services, compared
All six allow standard crypto-to-crypto swaps without an account. Figures marked estimate or unverified are not from official sources — details live on each exchange's page.

How a no-KYC instant swap works
-
Pick a pair and enter an address
Choose what you're sending and receiving (e.g. BTC → XMR), then paste the address of the wallet you want to receive to. No account needed.
-
Send your deposit
The exchange gives you a one-time deposit address. Send your crypto there — optionally start with a small test swap to verify everything works.
-
Receive the swapped coins
After network confirmations, the exchange sends the converted amount to your address. The service never holds your funds long-term (non-custodial).

Frequently asked questions
Is KYC ever required on these exchanges?
For standard crypto-to-crypto swaps: generally no — that's the whole point of the services listed here. But there are exceptions. Automated anti-money-laundering screening can flag a small minority of transactions (around 0.5% on ChangeNOW per third-party estimates — estimate, not an official figure) and ask for ID before releasing funds. KYC is also mandatory for fiat purchases on SimpleSwap and LetsExchange, and FixedFloat does not serve US users at all.
How do affiliate links on this site work?
Our ChangeNOW links contain a referral ID. When you use one, ChangeNOW's affiliate program pays us 0.4% of the value of your referred swaps in BTC — at no extra cost to you; the rate you see is the same as going direct. (Their official pages list the minimum affiliate payout as either 0.002 BTC or $100 — the figures differ between pages, so we state both.) See the full affiliate disclosure.
Are the fees really as stated?
Treat every fee figure here as a starting point, not a promise. Most instant exchanges bake their margin into the quoted exchange rate rather than showing a separate fee line, so the true cost varies by pair, market conditions and the rate type you choose (fixed vs floating). Always compare the final quoted amount against the live market rate before confirming.
Why do people swap BTC into Monero (XMR)?
Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a fully public ledger — anyone can trace an address's history. Monero is a privacy-focused coin that obscures sender, receiver and amount, making it fungible by design. Some people swap BTC → XMR to break the link between their identity and their coins. Our BTC→XMR guide walks through it safely.
Is FixedFloat safe after the 2024 hacks?
FixedFloat was hacked twice in 2024 (~$26.1M and ~$2.8M), rebuilt its infrastructure and relaunched on the new domain ff.io — always use ff.io, never the old fixedfloat.com. That history is real and worth weighing. On the other hand, its fees are among the most transparent (1% fixed / 0.5% floating) and it keeps an Estonian FIU license. See our FixedFloat vs ChangeNOW comparison.
Is this financial advice?
No. This site is an independent research project about no-KYC crypto swaps. Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto is volatile and swaps are irreversible — do your own research and never swap more than you can afford to lose. Estimates on this page are marked as estimates; official terms can change, so verify on the exchange's own site before trading.
